I'm really want to make this day one of the happiest days in your life so I would like to record happy, not sully and depressed shots. I'm not a yearning "I want to make a film" photographer trying to capture sully depressed shots. I love what I do. It's your day and to have you hiking across a field just to capture a moody shot under a tree in poring rain is not something you would do naturally. You should be enjoying your party with your friends that's what you would do, naturally.

	With weddings ideally my aim is to document the day from start to finish, to provide a complete record from preparations through to the final dance, photographing not only the main events but also all the little details which make your day unique. The best photographs of people are when they are happy and relaxed, sometimes that may mean candid shots other times the subject may know they are being photographed, either way the aim is for natural.  To ensure consistency all weddings are personally photographed by Sean Matthews with only one wedding photographed per day and a limited number shot each year, prices for 2009 start at £550 through to £2490. Dates do fill quickly so please contact us to confirm availability.
			.	Shoot 1st Photography use the Contemporary style of photography. Combining the formal setting up of group shots with capturing any natural creative spontaneous moments.
	I like to use the finest hand made albums from New Zealand, Australia and Scotland by Queensbury, Jorgensen. and Loxley. The quality of these albums is superb, so much so that I offer a guarantee that "if you ever develop a problem with your album I will personally repair or replace your album free of charge".  I can also supply albums to suit a tighter budget. The album layouts are designed in house and are unique to each wedding. They will tell your story of your day in a clear design that will look great for years to come. While you are on honeymoon I will design your album and have a first draft available within two weeks of your wedding, once the final layout has been approved your album will be ready within six weeks.

Engagement - Life Style Shoot

	A very personal way to record and celebrate your engagement. It also lets you to "get to know" your wedding photographer before the wedding. You'll be able to see the results you can expect on your big day!

	I like to do the shoot in a outdoor location preferably somewhere special to you. Doesn't have to be a magnificent setting, but that always helps, just somewhere that has fond memories for you. I've done them in the Ashdown Forest, the Downs but also a bus garage and a wimpy bar.
	After the pictures are processed they will be put on line for you to select as many or as little as you like. I'm generally asked to produce a hard backed guestbook of the engagement shoot which the wedding guests sign on the day. It's a nice touch but there are lots of products we can put the pictures on as long as it's in good taste! Engagement shoot...100GBP  - free with Platinum Wedding bookings. What do I get with Shoot 1st Photography? (Silver)

I will attend the Wedding Ceremony and Reception.
I will photograph your ceremony and take as many photographs as I'm allowed to. This completely depends on where it takes place. There are more restrictions placed on interior photographs taken in church as opposed to a civil ceremony. The majority of the photographs are then taken after the ceremony, either at the ceremony address or at the reception, depending on which, or both, is more suitable and photogenic. At the reception we'll ask the couple to pose for a 'fake' cake cutting before the wedding breakfast. This is where I finish the coverage. I will take as many photographs as possible, depending on the weather, number of guests etc but it's usually somewhere between 200-500 shots. Most of these will be included on your disk.

For the £575, I will provide a slide show disk of all the photographs taken and this will be with you two weeks after the wedding. This can be sooner if you need, but its usual to wait until you're back from honeymoon. The reason for the delay is that we go through each photograph to crop, balance the colours and make any corrections thought necessary. We also put all the photographs online for your friends and family to see and comment.

A deposit of £195 secures the booking with the balance due a month before the big day.

What I don't do (Silver)

I don't do an Engagement Life Style Shoot or prepare a Guest Book. I don't cover the bridal preparations if it's at a separate venue to the ceremony, your home for example and depending on distance and other variables. But on the other hand If you're getting ready at the ceremony venue then the "getting ready" shots are included in the price and there's no additional charge.

I don't cover the first dance as this would mean waiting for hours just for one shot and then the price would have to go up accordingly. If you'd like us to cover the first dance and beyond then please ask.

I don't include a visit prior to the wedding, as most couples are happy to discuss their requirements over the phone or via email. If you want to you're more than welcome to pop down and see me. I don't do the prints, these will be available on line for you to order and will be delivered direct to you.

The majority of the photographs are then taken after the ceremony, either at the ceremony address or at the reception, depending on which, or both, is more suitable and photogenic. At the reception I'll take all the photos up to the 1st dance. This is where I finish the coverage. I will take as many photographs as possible, depending on the weather, number of guests etc but it's usually somewhere between 300-600 shots. Most of these will be included on your disk.

For the £1290, I will provide a slide show disk of the best photographs taken and this will be with you two weeks after the wedding.  The reason for the delay is that we go through each photograph to crop, balance the colours and make any corrections thought necessary. We also put all the photographs online for your friends and family to see and comment. I will also supply a story book album covering the days events.

A deposit of £350 secures the booking with the balance due a month before the big day.

What I don't do (Gold)

I don't do an Engagement Life Style Shoot or prepare a Guest Book. I don't take shots of the groom getting ready unless for some reason he happens to be there! (Well it's happened before). I don't do prints.

I will do an Engagement Life Style outdoor Shoot and prepare a hardback Guest Book for your wedding guests to sign on the day. I will attend the couple for a pre wedding meeting to discuss the day in detail. I will attend the brides house to take "getting ready shots" with the bridesmaids and the grooms house with the best man.  I will photograph your guests arriving at the ceremony and take as many photographs as I'm allowed to. The majority of the photographs are then taken after the ceremony, either at the ceremony address or at the reception, depending on which, or both, is more suitable and photogenic. At the reception I'll take all the photos up to the final dance or 22.00 hrs. This is where I finish the coverage and go for a rest. I will take as many photographs as possible, depending on the weather, number of guests etc but it's usually somewhere between 500-800 shots. Most of these will be included on your disk.

For the £1980, I will provide a slide show disk of the best photographs taken on the day and this will be with you two weeks after the wedding. This can be sooner if you need, but its usual to wait until you're back from honeymoon. The reason for the delay is that we go through each photograph to crop, balance the colours and make any corrections thought necessary. We also put all the photographs online for your friends and family to see and comment. You will also have an additional photographer for most of day. I will also supply a story book album covering the days events.

A deposit of £650 secures the booking with the balance due a by month before the big day.

What I don't do (Platinum)

Nothing much everything's included to make your day special, but I still don't do the prints. These can be viewed on line by you and your guests and ordered along with extra parent albums.
